By using the LetsVlog Community Group website, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. You must be 18 years or older to use this site.
2. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your screen name.
3. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
4. You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other LetsVlog Community Group users.
5. You may not use the LetsVlog Community Group for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
6. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links ("Content") that you submit, post, and display on the LetsVlog Community Group website.
7. You must not modify, adapt or hack the LetsVlog Community Group’s network or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with LetsVlog.com Community Group.
8. You must not create or submit unwanted email to any LetsVlog Community members ("Spam").
9. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
10. You must not, in the use of LetsVlog.com, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
11. You will not attempt to hide/mask your IP Address at any time on our site.
12. You will not create duplicate - sock - accounts (normally used to cause discourse in the Community).
13. The use of excessive profanity, abusive language and vulgarities is prohibited.
14. The promotion, direct or indirect, sales of any product or service, personal or otherwise, is prohibited.  This includes, but is not limited to, multi-level marketing and affiliate programs.  The only exception would be when prior, written authorization is granted by the site Administrator.
15. Artificially inflating video views, either manually, by the use of bots, or auto refreshers is strictly prohibited.
16. Content that disseminates personal information about another individual for malevolent purposes, including libel, slander, defamation or harassment is strictly prohibited.
17. Content depicting cruelty to animals is prohibited.
18. Content promoting or providing instructional information about illegal activities is prohibited.
19. For any account to be active, it must include a profile picture.  If, after a period of 2 hours from initially signing up no profile picture is included, those accounts will be moved to inactive status or deleted.
20. Anonymous accounts are not permitted.  Every registered user is expected to vlog.  If, after a period 4 weeks from initially signing up no video is uploaded, those accounts will be moved to inactive status or deleted.

Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your LetsVlog account.

 

General Conditions:

• We reserve the right to modify or terminate the LetsVlog - network service for any reason, without notice at any time.
• We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Service at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Use, we will notify you via internet mail according to the preference expressed on your account. What constitutes a "material change" will be determined at our sole discretion, in good faith and using common sense and reasonable judgment.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
• We may, but have no obligation to, remove Content and accounts containing Content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
• We track your IP address during the process of any uploads onto our system.  This is done to maintain the integrity of the material being submitted and to help ensure a consistent enforcement of these Terms of Service.  Our back end engine is, further, able to detect/identify the use of proxies (fake IP addresses).  Repeated attempts to upload inappropriate material and/or use IP blocking software will lead to permanent termination of your account.
• Your past, online behavior, affiliations, and reputation are considered when you create an account on LetsVlog.  Known trolls, haters, and antagonists are not welcomed - and their accounts will be terminated at the discretion of the site Administration Team.
• Anonymous accounts are not allowed.  If, within a period of one month, a user does not verify their identity thru a video vlog or greeting to the Community, the Administration Team may request a private video, Skype call or other tangible way to verify their identity on the most basic of terms.  This will be done to deter sock accounts and trolls.  Not complying with this requirement will lead to the suspension of such account(s).
• You agree to indemnify and hold the Letsvlog Community Group harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of this Agreement and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.

• Your acceptance of these Terms of Use expresses that you will not seek legal action relative to any occurence stemming from the use of the LetsVlog Community Group.

 

Special Note Regarding Content:

 

Our site and the materials, submissions and content contained here are available only for the purpose of providing general information. This Site and the information and resources contained on this site are not intended to replace or substitute for any professional advice.

 

LetsVlog makes no representations and warranties and expressly disclaims any and all liability concerning actions taken by a user following the information or using the resources offered or provided on or through this site.  If you have a situation that requires professional advice, you should consult a qualified specialist.

 

Uploaded content, regardless of its form, should be with the intent to foster community interaction, feedback, and discussion.  The Letsvlog Community Group is not to be used for personal media storage.  Other digital media services exist online to accomidate your possible need to store digital data for personal use, reflection and/or for the purposes of archiving.  Material uploaded to Letsvlog that we deem is for personal, archival purposes will be removed with or without prior notice.  This policy is in effect for public and privately labeled material.  We do discourage, by the same token, the labeling or classifying of uploaded material as "private" although we allow it in small numbers.

 

All content uploaded to LetsVlog must be in clearly spoken or written English (American).  Material which is not understandable to the Administration Team will be removed.

 

Youtube Embeds/Other Embeds:

 

Our site enables you to embed videos from other video sharing sites such as Youtube.  However, we have set a limit of 1 embed per day from any member.  Any additional embeds will be removed.

 

The reason for this policy is to encourage original content to LetsVlog.  Also, it will prevent somebody from posting a large number of videos, in embed form, and fill up the entire current videos page - moving everybody else off and to the bottom.  We believe this is a balanced method of handling embeds, rather than to just completely disabling them.  Embedded videos have definite value.  We welcome them.  But we do not want to make them the primary focus of our content.

 

Embedding videos from Youtube Partners is prohibited.  This is a violation of Youtube Term Of Use.  In addition, it is an indirect way of monetizing videos for profit - on our site - which is not for profit.

 

Not Open Source:

The LetsVlog Community Group is not a part of a larger group.  For example: We are not a part of Ning or any other white label platform. Our platform and venue of operation is not open source.  Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to copy any part of our code to replicate, duplicate or emulate our site or a new site using our apperance and technical script.
